Mike Oldfield Tubular Bells
Product Description
I vividly remember sneaking my way into the ABC cinema in Leeds to see the film that everyone was talking about The Exorcist. I was 13 at the time and to manage to get into see an X rated film was really something. The film was really something as well. I reckon it took me a month to sleep through the night. Tubular Bells plays a pivotal role in the film. The opening bars create so much tension it was as if it was written purposely movie. The album was soon at the top of the charts and Virgin Records and Richard Branson had arrived. The rest is history.
But this is no mere soundtrack album. It never was and it is so much more than that. Its a beautiful piece of music that for me evoke powerful memories of teenage years. It really is a true classic and 36 years on like the film its as good today as it ever was. An absolute MUST HAVE LP
