About us – history

Simply Vinyl was established in 1997 in response to the declining availability of the vinyl format on both new and classic back catalogue Rock/Pop titles. The main objective was to source and reissue classic titles for which there was an unsatisfied global demand. To cater for the needs of the very discerning vinyl customer, only the highest quality of 180 gram virgin vinyl was used for exclusive titles, packaged with love and care into 350 gram durable sleeves. The website, Simplyvinyl.com was launched towards the end of 1998 offering a continuously expanding range of both new and classic titles. The business continued to grow and flourish during the early 2000’s forming successful partnerships with both retailers and wholesales, the leading music companies and an ever-increasing database of global internet customers.

In October 2009, Simplyvinyl.com was re-launched under the exciting new ownership and management of a highly professional team of music industry experts and top business investors.

The commitment to the customer remains consistent with the original brand values and heritage of the company. Our mission is to deliver the highest quality re-mastered analogue sound on supreme quality 180 gram vinyl for all our exclusive titles, beautifully packaged with the original artwork sleeve. The finishing touch of the customised Simply Vinyl reflective seal is the guarantee of authenticity and excellence.
